Label the Plant
Provide students with a set of Plant Vocabulary Match cards. Students match the words to the definitions. After students have matched up all the cards. Have them partner up and take turns using each vocabulary word in a sentence. CLICK on the image below to DOWNLOAD your vocabulary match activity:
“What Am I?” Riddles
Have the students create “What am I?” riddles using plant vocabulary words. For example, students may write, “I am part of a plant. I am brightly coloured. What am I?” or “I am a part of the Earth. I am the place where plants grow. What am I?”
